SATURDAY OCTOBER 15TH
Taste The Best Of Sonoma County And Celebrate Award Winning Local Food, Wine, And Art, At The Sonoma County Harvest Fair.
Dear Guests,
We are thrilled to host the Harvest Fair in person again. I am very excited to enjoy the amazing food and wines synonymous with this event! In addition to the exciting Professional Wine Competition, the event also includes an Amateur Wine Competition, Professional Food Competition and the World Champion Grape Stomp.
This year’s Harvest Fair schedule is a little different from years past. We will host the Grand Tasting on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Tasting Pavilion at the Sonoma County Fair Grounds. This three-hour event will showcase the very best of Sonoma County wines, food and artisans.
New for this year is a special pre-event VIP time period. From noon – 1 p.m., we’re providing time for guests to gain early access to the Pavilion. This allows for a more personalized experience with each of the wineries and restaurants.
The 2022 Harvest Fair Awards Night Celebration will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in the Saralee & Richard’s Barn. This event not only honors the winners in the food and wine competitions, but also recognizes tremendous achievement in the agriculture business. Tickets for the Awards Night and the Grand Tasting are available at HarvestFair.org.
The Harvest Fair is one of Sonoma County’s most cherished events. From the first sweepstakes winner, Chateau St. Jean back in 1975 to today, more than 80 wineries have been recognized with the coveted sweepstakes awards. Legends in the agriculture and food industries have been honored and recognized for their contribution to Sonoma County. With an expert panel of wine and food judges, the very best of the area’s winemakers, chefs and food purveyors have opportunities to put their offerings in the spotlight, generating greater awareness for the brands and their makers.
Fall in Sonoma County is a magical time of year. The colorful hues of the vineyards, warm days and crisp nights, and the excitement about another harvest in vineyards, orchards, gardens and fields creates an energy unmatched in any other time of the year. The Harvest Fair provides an ideal way to celebrate the incredible work of our agricultural community and its of growers, makers and innovators.
On behalf of the Harvest Fair Board of Directors, the County of Sonoma and all the volunteers who work so hard to make this event a success, we thank you for your ongoing support! We look forward to seeing you at the 2022 Harvest Fair and celebrating the very best of Sonoma County’s food and wine offerings.
See you at the Harvest Fair!
